John has been involved in sales and marketing for his whole working life, starting in the stock & station agency business. Selling real estate, conducting many Auctions and looking after the affairs of a client base in the South East and Lower North of South Australia.

While living in Mount Gambier John obtained his Real Estate Agents Licence to further his career in Real Estate. Moving back to live in Adelaide John established a real estate agency in partnership. This business was run successfully for many years in residential and rental management in the North East area, which he eventually sold to take up the management of a well known Adelaide Real Estate company involved in Sales and Auction. In 2009 John joined the successful team at 1289 REAL ESTATE.

John has been a member of The Real Estate Institute of South Australia REISA for over 30 years. And being awarded an Associate of The Real Estate of Australia A.R.E.I.

John has received many awards for sales and marketing of Real Estate over the entirety of his career.

Coming from a rural background John spent a number of years marketing and developing rural living allotments in the One Tree Hill area and other rural living areas around Adelaide for a number of developers.

Assisting in the development & marketing of Strata units, community title project, selling many homes for individual home owners in the North East and various areas of Adelaide and surrounds. Along with Commercial sales and leasing.

For the last 20 years John has become interested in people looking to retire and options these people can look at. John has been consulting with Retirement Villages to develop and market under Retirement Villages Act 1978 and amendments, Residential Parks Act and Community Title Retirement Villages.

John is prepared to spend the time with people looking to move into retirement accommodation and explain the various options. Some of the options are Independent Living Units, Serviced units in Retirement Villages, Living in a Residential Park or just downsizing to a smaller home.

John is married to Vicki who is supportive of his profession, John’s extensive background in real estate puts him in good stead for understanding the needs of his clients in buying and selling real estate.
